ASQ Announces New SR Medal

The new ASQ Spencer Hutchens, Jr. Medal will be presented annually to recognize the achievements of an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership as an individual, business leader, and cause advocate for social responsibility–primarily focusing on the marketplace, environment, workplace and community.  This medal seeks to showcase how the individual’s impactful results have led to societal change.  Spence Hutchens, Jr. is an ASQ past president who’s personal and business life reflects and demonstrates the desired attributes in the definition of SR above. 

The first medal will be presented at ASQ’s World Conference for Quality and Improvement in 2010.  All nominations are due to the committe by October 1, 2009.  Nomination forms are available at:
