Social Conscience
The Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) owns and manages Coffee With A Conscience (CWC). The bakery products you enjoy at our two locations are made by clients who have participated in WWBIC’s business training or loan programs. CWC is a revenue generating source for both WWBIC and clients with great potential for growth.

Environmental Conscience
CWC is committed to reducing waste and the reckless use of nonrenewable resources. We use only environmentally sound cups, paper products, and plastics that help prolong the life of our landfills.  All of our coffee is organic, which promotes sustainable agriculture, protects farmers and the environment from unsafe applications of fertilizers and pesticides. This promotes sustainable agriculture for our future generations.

Global Conscience
CWC is sensitive to human beings throughout the world and believes everyone should have the opportunuty to control their own destiny. In purchasing green coffees from around the world, our roaster has consistently recognized the value of buying “fair trade” and certified organic, kosher coffees. Fair trade is a concept connecting producers and consumers in more equitable, meaningful and sustainable ways. CWC believes every individual should have an opportunity to control their own destiny.
